Fisheries and Animal Husbandry

Many state and central projects were completed and ongoing by HOPE on animal husbandry in the rural area of Uttarakhand state. The following major projects were completed and on-going by organization:

1. “Integrated income generation programme for empowering schedule caste and schedule Tribe groups by sheep (Rambouillet) rearing for wool fibre production and training of weaving under Kapkot block of Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand state” is on-going project.

2. “Promotion and development of Bee- keeping and poultry keeping” in year of 2010-2013.

3. “Promotion and development of Mushroom, cultivation and poultry keeping for livelihood opportunities for SC community” in year of 2005-2007.

4. “Demonstration of fish cultivation Technology” in year of 2001-03.
