Rambans Program

Initially the organization has established a training centre for Rambaansfibre since its inception. Training centre, HOPE trains rural women and youth every in the relevant.

Exhibition / Events

HOPE organizes exhibitions, events, fairs, haat in Uttrayani fair-Bageshwar, Saras Market-Haldwanietc for the distribution and marketing of products prepared by rural farmers and SHG’s.

Natural Resource

For the development and strengthening of natural resources, the organization plants broad leave plants of various species and Grass species. The organization also constructs Khal, contour trenching etc. for the conservation of water resources.

Employment and social welfare activities

Conduction of self employment and social welfare activities.HOPE has conducted following training self employment and social welfare activities:

Fruit and Food Processing Training

The organization has trained 250 rural women throughits 10 days training program in the financial year 2018-19. A total number of 35 women have taken this skill as micro industries.

Training on cultivation of off-seasonal vegetables

Under this training, the organization has trained 225 rural women through its 10 days training program in the financial year 2018-19. The women were trained in vegetable cultivation in poly houses, nursery management, distribution etc.

Nutri-Bakery Training

The organization has trained 250 rural women through its commercialtraining program with the technical support of HESCO, Dehradun. HOPE has preferred local crops like Ramdana, Ogal, Madua etch to make bakery products. The organization has also kept this skill in its priority in the strategy to improve income of local community.

Social welfare activities

• The organization has established a Science Centre Mandalkot, Tarikhet developmental block of district –Almora with the support of PAHAL, Pithoragarh. The centre conducts science awareness campaign in the schools of nearby areas.

• Establishment of Vigyan Prasar Kendra

• Rajiv Gandhi Swasthya Bima Yojana: With the support of the Development Commissioner (Handicraft),Government of India, the organization has achieved the target to insure 730 artisans that are getting regular health facilities as per the provision laid down by the central Government every year.
